The Courtyard Theater June 14th - July 9th 2023 By: Kate Hammill Directed by: Aileen Wen McGroddy Production Stage Manager: Nat Kelley DiMario Scenic Design by: Carolyn Mraz Costume Design by: Camilla Dely Lighting Design by: Jennifer Fok Sound Design by: Kate Marvin Wig Design by: Moriah James Northern Stage's production of Sense and Sensibility marked a lot of "firsts" for me: my first LORT contract, my first outdoor show, my first show of this scale as Production Stage Manager... and quite frankly, every other element that was thrown our way. We were met with unpredictable weather, losing half of our tech time as we were forced to pivot and move our entire process to the indoor space for three days, including first preview and opening night. With an incredible team of collaborators, we were able to create a stunning piece of theatre that overcame every challenge and roadblock thrown our way. Every day was a learning experience and an opportunity for growth, and it truly launched me onto a new playing field on what feels much like the precipice of a turning point in my career.
