Nat Kelley DiMario is a queer & trans theatre artist, stage manager, and storyteller. Based in Brooklyn, Nat is inspired by work that challenges conventional storytelling norms, including dance, puppetry, shadow play, devised, and immersive theatre. They were a production assistant on the 2022 Broadway production of Into the Woods, and the Production Stage Manager for Dance Nation at their alma mater, Fordham University, where they served as mentor to undergraduate stage management students. Currently, Nat is the stage manager for Lewberger and the Wizard of Friendship at Theatre Row, a sold-out four week engagement starring musical comedy trio Lewberger. Later this spring, they will serve as ASM for *mark at Theatre 315, produced by Magis Theatre Company.
Nat is committed to engaging with gender-expansive theatre that is created by and for the trans community. They recently stage managed 29-hour readings of Thelma and Louise and the Time Machine as part of the inaugural Breaking the Binary Theatre Festival, and All Nighter at WP Theater.
Since returning to NYC last summer, Nat has ASM'd productions in drama, opera, and dance at The Juilliard School, and they are currently a stage manager for the Recital Operations Office. They have also worked in concert stage management with Juilliard, Little Orchestra Society, and Orchestra of St. Luke's. Nat has also been worked in Covid Safety for Magis Theatre Company, Classical Theatre of Harlem, and Law & Order SVU.
Nat was a stage manager for Ken Davenport's TheaterMaker's Summit in 2020, as well as a number of virtual readings hosted by TMS. They also stage managed Journey Around My Bedroom, an interactive Zoom toy theatre piece as part of New Ohio's Theatre for Young Minds program. Following a successful pivot during the Covid-19 pandemic, Nat served as a consultant and advisor for a number of other companies producing virtual theatre.
In addition to their freelance stage management career, Nat is the Production Coordinator and a founding member of Shared Road Theatre Company, an artistic collective and production company dedicated to the creation of new and interdisciplinary works. In late 2021 SRTC produced the pilot episode of The Sound Museum, an audio fiction podcast which is available now on the Faustian Nonsense network. Nat holds a BA in Theatre Design and Production from Fordham University and is an alum of the Juilliard Professional Apprentice Program.
When not in rehearsal, running a tech, or calling a show, they can usually be found watching Star Trek, playing D&D, and cosplaying.
